What is Anxiety?

Anxiety consists of feelings or sets of feelings that are experienced both mentally and physically. Anxiety is a natural human response to stress or perceived threats. It's a feeling of fear, worry, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. While it's normal to experience anxiety occasionally, it becomes a problem when it persists or becomes overwhelming, interfering with daily life.

Some individuals are not able to shake the anxiety and find their symptoms to be debilitating; thus, impacting their quality of life and relationships.
